Chanel in Paris seeks an Apprenticeship Human Rights & Social Impact Project Coordinator (alternance) starting Sep 2026 to support CSR and responsible sourcing initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation and monitoring of human rights due diligence and social impact initiatives across the fashion value chain.
  • Conduct research and mapping of supply-chain risks, labour conditions and stakeholder landscapes to inform mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional projects with sourcing, legal, sustainability and product teams to operationalize remediation and responsible sourcing actions.
  • Assist with the preparation of impact assessments, internal reports and materials for senior stakeholders and external communications.
  • Contribute to supplier engagement activities and audits, track KPIs, and help maintain documentation for compliance with international standards (e.g., UN Guiding Principles, ILO).
  • Organize workshops, trainings and stakeholder consultations; follow up on action plans and monitor progress against project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a recognised Bachelor's or Master's programme in human rights, international development, sustainability, social sciences, law, or a related discipline (alternance/work‑study format).
  • Demonstrable interest in labour rights, responsible sourcing, corporate social responsibility or social impact programming.
  • Strong analytical capacity with attention to detail in research, data collection and report drafting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders professionally.
  • Fluency in project organisation, prioritisation and time management suited to a fast‑paced luxury environment.
