Chanel in Paris seeks an Apprenticeship Human Rights & Social Impact Project Coordinator (alternance) starting Sep 2026 to support CSR and responsible sourcing initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation and monitoring of human rights due diligence and social impact initiatives across the fashion value chain.
- Conduct research and mapping of supply-chain risks, labour conditions and stakeholder landscapes to inform mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross‑functional projects with sourcing, legal, sustainability and product teams to operationalize remediation and responsible sourcing actions.
- Assist with the preparation of impact assessments, internal reports and materials for senior stakeholders and external communications.
- Contribute to supplier engagement activities and audits, track KPIs, and help maintain documentation for compliance with international standards (e.g., UN Guiding Principles, ILO).
- Organize workshops, trainings and stakeholder consultations; follow up on action plans and monitor progress against project timelines.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a recognised Bachelor's or Master's programme in human rights, international development, sustainability, social sciences, law, or a related discipline (alternance/work‑study format).
- Demonstrable interest in labour rights, responsible sourcing, corporate social responsibility or social impact programming.
- Strong analytical capacity with attention to detail in research, data collection and report drafting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders professionally.
- Fluency in project organisation, prioritisation and time management suited to a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Experience
Previous internships or practical experience in CSR, human rights, sustainability, supply‑chain compliance or related NGO/consultancy work is strongly preferred but not required for alternance candidates.
Education
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate programme (Bachelor's or Master's) eligible for alternance/work‑study arrangements.
