Chanel seeks a Human Resources Officer in Chamant, France for CHANEL Parfums Beauté (Sept 2026) to manage HR operations, recruitment and employee relations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day HR operational support to the Chamant site, including employee administration, contract management and personnel file maintenance.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding for production and site-based roles, working with hiring managers to define profiles, screen candidates and coordinate interviews.
- Advise managers and employees on French labour law, workplace policies and disciplinary procedures; support social dialogue with employee representatives and works councils.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives, skills mapping and internal mobility to meet site workforce needs.
- Maintain and improve HRIS data quality; produce HR reporting and headcount analysis for site leadership.
- Act as liaison with payroll, occupational health and health & safety teams to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
- Contribute to HR projects (organisational changes, performance management cycles, engagement initiatives) at site and regional level.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Solid knowledge of French labour law and social relations practice, including works councils and collective bargaining processes.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations and HR administration — preferably within manufacturing, beauty, FMCG or retail environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to advise and influence managers at all levels.
- Discretion, professional rigor and ability to handle confidential employee information.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing, cosmetics/beauty or consumer goods environment, with hands-on exposure to French social dialogue and HR operations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or equivalent professional experience.

The successful candidate will be located in Chamant, Hauts-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
