Chanel seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for its Vancouver office to drive strategic HR initiatives and support business growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and department heads to align human resources strategy with organizational objectives
- Develop and implement talent acquisition, development, and retention programmes tailored to business needs
- Provide strategic HR advisory on organizational structure, compensation, and employee relations matters
- Manage employee performance management processes and conduct talent reviews
- Identify and support talent pipeline development and leadership succession planning
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of human resources experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic business partner capacity
- Advanced knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in Canada
- Demonstrated experience in luxury retail or premium brand environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with senior-level executive presence
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7 years of progressive human resources experience, including at least 3 years in a strategic HR business partner role. Prior experience within luxury retail, premium fashion, or high-end consumer goods environments is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Professional HR certification (CHRP, PHR, or equivalent) is required.
