Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain site HSE policies, procedures and programmes aligned with corporate standards and applicable French and EU regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, routine workplace inspections and HSE audits; identify hazards and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, perform root-cause analysis and compile regulatory-compliant reports.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness sessions for operational personnel; manage competence records and toolbox talks.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, drills and site-level crisis response; ensure adequacy of PPE and safety equipment.
- Monitor HSE performance metrics, prepare dashboards and report findings to site management; support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with external authorities, contractors and occupational health services to ensure regulatory compliance and contractor HSE adherence.
- Support environmental management activities including waste segregation, emissions monitoring and resource-efficiency measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety, engineering, industrial hygiene or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or French-equivalent qualifications; first-aid (SST) certification desirable.
- Strong knowledge of French occupational health & safety regulations (Code du travail) and relevant EU environmental legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and implement corrective action plans.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of hands-on HSE experience in a manufacturing, industrial or production environment, preferably within fashion, luxury goods or cosmetics. Proven track record implementing HSE programmes, conducting audits and leading incident investigations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety, engineering, industrial hygiene or equivalent professional experience.
