Chanel seeks an HSE Engineering Intern in Chamant, France for a 6-month role leading digital transformation in Health, Safety & Environment operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards to track HSE indicators including energy consumption, waste management, and safety performance
  • Develop digital solutions using Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps to streamline collection and reporting of HSE data (accidents, incidents, occupational risk assessments)
  • Establish and administer a dedicated SharePoint site for the HSE department to centralize data, documents, and reporting
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance reliability of indicator tracking and optimize document management
  • Update and maintain HSE documentation
  • Participate in occupational and chemical risk assessment and management, supporting the HSE team in daily operations
  • Conduct and update general and chemical inventories and analyze incidents related to chemical product handling practices
  • Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Manufacturing teams on cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications

  • Engineering student with a generalist engineering degree
  • Specialization in continuous improvement preferred
  • Affinity for digital tools and data analysis (Power BI, SharePoint, Excel)
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
  • Strong attention to detail and rigor in execution

Experience
