Chanel seeks HR Generalist in Paris, France for permanent role managing personnel administration, compliance, and employee experience within corporate HR functions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative hiring processes, transfers, and terminations, ensuring full compliance with labour law
  • Generate employment contracts, amendments, tripartite agreements, and associated documentation
  • Establish and maintain employee records in Workday system, ensuring data accuracy and security
  • Communicate and explain company policies including internal regulations, charters, benefits, and time management protocols
  • Organize and lead collective and individual onboarding sessions for new employees
  • Provide daily HR support to employees on all human resources matters and queries
  • Monitor and collect time-tracking data including absences, attendance, overtime, and schedule variations
  • Review and ensure employee and manager compliance with time-tracking requirements; correct discrepancies
  • Input and validate payroll data in ADP Link system
  • Organize, classify, and archive personnel files according to legal requirements
  • Manage employee exits including retirement, resignation, dismissal, and end of probation
  • Track various types of absences including sick leave, maternity leave, parental leave, and contract suspensions
  • Prepare and present monthly headcount reports and workforce analytics
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across all HR systems including Workday, ADP Link, Chronotime, and Neocase
  • Participate in process improvements and professionalization of personnel administration activities
  • Support deployment of new HR systems and tools
  • Contribute to cross-functional ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of successful HR experience in a structured environment
  • Strong knowledge of French social legislation and labour law
  • Expert-level proficiency in time management systems and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional discretion and commitment to confidentiality
  • Proactive approach with strong priority management capabilities
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Workday and ADP Link systems is highly desirable
