Chanel in Neuilly-sur-Seine seeks an HR Compensation & Reporting Apprentice (Alternance) for Parfums Beauté starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Parfums Beauté HR team with monthly and ad‑hoc compensation and payroll-related tasks.
- Produce and maintain HR reports and dashboards (headcount, turnover, compensation costs) for local and regional stakeholders.
- Compile, cleanse and reconcile HR data from internal systems to ensure accuracy of reporting and month‑end close.
- Perform basic compensation analyses, salary positioning and market benchmarking support.
- Coordinate with Finance, HRBP and payroll providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation of reporting workflows.
- Prepare presentation materials and summaries for senior management and committee meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee data and ensure adherence to corporate data protection policies.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an alternance‑eligible Bachelor's or Master's program in Human Resources, Business, Finance or equivalent.
- Strong analytical ability with meticulous attention to numerical accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas) and proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated discretion handling confidential employee information.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Interest in the beauty and luxury sector and readiness to work in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment.

Previous internship experience in HR, payroll, compensation or people analytics is advantageous but not required; candidates are expected to be students seeking an alternance placement and able to apply academic learning to operational HR tasks.
