Chanel is hiring a Hostess in Oslo — boutique reception role delivering concierge-level service to clients at the Chanel boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients on arrival and manage the boutique reception to deliver a flawless first impression.
- Coordinate and confirm appointments, manage the client waiting list and support the allocation of fitting rooms or private salons.
- Provide high-level concierge services: answer telephone and email enquiries, manage guest requests and direct clients to sales advisors or specialists.
- Maintain the boutique’s presentation standards, including merchandising support and upkeep of public areas (cloakroom, reception).
- Update appointment notes and basic client data in the CRM system; liaise closely with the sales team to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Assist with guest list management and logistics for in-store events and VIP visits.
- Handle transactional tasks as required (cloakroom, simple POS operations), ensuring discretion and compliance with luxury service protocols.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain composed in high-traffic, high-expectation environments.
- Strong organisational aptitude with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing requests.

Skills
Experience
Previous experience (typically 1–3 years) in luxury retail, high-end hospitality or front-of-house roles is preferred; prior boutique or maison experience is an advantage.
Education
High-school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in hospitality or retail is a plus.
