Chanel Parfums Beauté seeks an HSE Engineer for a fixed-term contract at its Pantin facility starting September 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures compliant with French and EU regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses across manufacturing and operational facilities
  • Monitor workplace safety compliance and coordinate corrective actions
  • Manage environmental compliance programs including waste management and emissions control
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities on compliance matters
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all HSE activities

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Health, Safety, Environment, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of French and EU health, safety, and environmental regulations (COSHH, REACH, ATEX, etc.)
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent management systems
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and associated hazards

Experience

Engineering degree (Bac+5 or equivalent) in Health, Safety, Environment, Industrial Safety, or a closely related field; professional certifications (e.g., CQFR, NEBOSH, or equivalent) are valued.

The successful candidate will be located in Pantin, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
