Chanel Parfums Beauté seeks an HSE Engineer for a fixed-term contract at its Pantin facility starting September 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures compliant with French and EU regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses across manufacturing and operational facilities
- Monitor workplace safety compliance and coordinate corrective actions
- Manage environmental compliance programs including waste management and emissions control
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards
- Provide training and guidance to staff on health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities on compliance matters
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all HSE activities
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Health, Safety, Environment, or related discipline
- Knowledge of French and EU health, safety, and environmental regulations (COSHH, REACH, ATEX, etc.)
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent management systems
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and associated hazards
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment; prior experience in the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or chemical industries is advantageous.
Education
Engineering degree (Bac+5 or equivalent) in Health, Safety, Environment, Industrial Safety, or a closely related field; professional certifications (e.g., CQFR, NEBOSH, or equivalent) are valued.

The successful candidate will be located in Pantin, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
