Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute overall marketing strategy for Watches & Fine Jewelry in the U.S., strengthening brand awareness, desirability, and legitimacy
- Develop new initiatives to drive WFJ business scale and reinforce Chanel's positioning within the luxury watch and jewelry landscape
- Partner with global teams to localize brand and product marketing strategies for the U.S. market
- Develop strong product storytelling and launch strategies to support key collections and iconic product platforms
- Lead cross-functional orchestration across communications, media, events, retail, and digital to ensure consistent and impactful product visibility
- Translate market insights and commercial opportunities into strategic product marketing initiatives
- Define and implement visual merchandising strategy across the U.S. boutique network to ensure exceptional brand expression and retail experience
- Ensure VM execution aligns with global guidelines while adapting to local business priorities and key markets
- Partner with Retail and Merchandising teams to optimize product presentation, storytelling, and client engagement in boutiques
- Lead and develop a high-performing Marketing and Visual Merchandising team, fostering collaboration, creativity, and operational excellence
- Navigate complex collaborative environments while supporting transformation and operational efficiency
- Coordinate marketing intelligence and analyze competitive mapping and product strategies
- Partner with global teams on product development initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of deep branding experience, preferably in luxury sector, with overall 15+ years of professional experience
- Demonstrated expertise in 360° marketing orchestration, connecting communication, retail, and product storytelling
- Strong experience leading product marketing and visual merchandising strategies
- Proven P&L management, budget ownership, and strategic planning experience
- Experience leading teams and supervising team leaders
- Strong brand building background with at least one major luxury brand
- Deep knowledge of and passion for the watch and fine jewelry industry and luxury retail landscape
- Ability to understand and interpret local market insights and transform them into strategies
- Keen eye for details while maintaining strategic perspective
- Ability to inspire others and lead by influence across multiple teams
- Ability to foster innovation and forward thinking in digital engagement channels (e-commerce, social media, remote sales, e-services)
- Proven ability to inspire and lead teams through change
- Understanding of both American and French cultural nuances in business
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into strategic presentations (particularly PowerPoint)

10+ years of deep branding experience within the luxury sector, with a minimum of 15+ years of total professional experience. Candidates should demonstrate proven expertise in 360° marketing orchestration spanning communications, retail, and product storytelling. Experience in brand marketing, product marketing, or retail marketing within luxury environments is essential. Prior experience leading teams and supervising team leaders is required. International and domestic travel capability (15–20% annually) is necessary.
Education
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred.
