Chanel seeks a Head of Legal in Taipei City to provide strategic legal advice and ensure compliance in the TW Region. Full-time position in a dynamic luxury fashion environment.

Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary legal advisor to Country Management and Business Divisions on all legal matters in the TW Region.
- Provide strategic and comprehensive legal advice from pre-decision input to final execution.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and manage legal risks across the organization.
- Advise on data privacy laws in the context of digital transformation and corporate initiatives.
- Oversee the legal aspects of distribution, including boutique and counter renovation and expansion plans.
- Monitor regulatory developments and maintain connections with the local legal community for agile law interpretation.
- Engage with courts and authorities, including court appearances, to protect the brand and uphold brand values.
- Develop and promote a legal and compliance culture within the company.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of local legal systems and regulations in the TW Region.
- Proven track record in providing strategic legal advice to senior management.
- Experience in managing legal compliance and risk in a corporate environment.
Skills
Experience
Significant experience in a senior legal role, preferably within the luxury fashion or retail industry.
Education
A degree in Law from a recognized institution.
