Chanel seeks Head of Data and Intelligence for Singapore to lead regional data strategy across Southeast Asia and Australia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the data strategy and intelligence function across Southeast Asia and Australia (SEAA)
- Develop and oversee the implementation of data-driven insights to support business decision-making across the region
- Build and manage a high-performing data and intelligence team
- Establish data governance frameworks and best practices across SEAA operations
- Partner with regional business units to identify key performance metrics and intelligence priorities
- Drive digital transformation initiatives leveraging advanced analytics and business intelligence tools
- Report to regional executive leadership on key insights and data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience managing large data and analytics teams
- Deep expertise in data strategy, business intelligence, and advanced analytics
- Experience working in luxury fashion, retail, or consumer goods industries preferred
- Strong understanding of regional business dynamics across Southeast Asia and/or Australia
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages an asset
Skills
Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity managing data teams and driving strategic initiatives
Education
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline); Master's degree or advanced certifications in Data Science, Analytics, or Business Intelligence preferred
