Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all boutique operations for watches and fine jewelry, ensuring the boutique meets sales, margin and service targets.
- Design and execute client acquisition, retention and VIP clienteling programmes to deepen high-value relationships.
- Recruit, coach and develop a specialist sales team — set objectives, conduct performance reviews and deliver continuous training in product knowledge and service protocols.
- Oversee merchandising, visual standards and assortment presentation to reflect maison heritage and seasonal directives.
- Manage inventory control, stock reconciliation, shrinkage prevention and coordination of transfers with regional logistics.
- Partner with regional headquarters on assortment planning, launches, after-sales service and marketing activations.
- Own boutique-level P&L responsibilities, forecasting and weekly/monthly sales reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations and brand security procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in luxury retail with specific responsibility for watches and/or fine jewelry.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding high-value sales targets and managing boutique P&L.
- Strong commercial acumen, clienteling expertise and executive-level presentation skills.
- Experience recruiting, mentoring and retaining specialist sales teams in a luxury environment.
- Familiarity with inventory control, loss prevention and boutique operational standards.
Skills
Experience
Typically 7+ years in luxury retail with progressive responsibility, including at least 3–5 years in a managerial role overseeing watches and/or fine jewelry across a flagship or boutique environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, luxury management or equivalent professional experience; formal credentials in horology or gemology are advantageous but not mandatory.
