Chanel is hiring a Head of Boutique in New Delhi (Chanakya) to lead boutique operations, sales and clienteling for the maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all boutique operations to achieve sales, service and brand presentation targets while safeguarding Chanel’s luxury identity.
- Recruit, mentor and develop boutique teams; set individual and team KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews and coaching.
- Manage P&L responsibilities including sales forecasting, cost control, payroll, and inventory turnover to maximise profitability.
- Oversee clienteling and CRM strategy to deepen high-value client relationships, drive repeat business and manage VIP servicing protocols.
- Ensure impeccable visual merchandising and boutique presentation in accordance with global directives and seasonal directives.
- Coordinate with regional management, merchandising and inventory teams on product allocation, stock replenishment and launch events.
- Implement loss-prevention procedures, compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensure exemplary standards of customer confidentiality and data handling.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in luxury retail: typically 5+ years in high-end boutique or flagship management with demonstrable sales results.
- Track record of team development and staff retention in a client-centric, quota-driven environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, sales forecasting and inventory controls.
- Excellent interpersonal and clienteling skills; experience servicing HNW and VIP clients.
- Fluent English; proficiency in Hindi or other local languages is advantageous.
- Professional demeanour aligned with Chanel’s brand standards and discretion when handling client information.

Senior luxury retail experience is required: typically 5+ years in boutique or flagship roles with at least 3 years in people management and responsibility for sales targets, inventory and client relationships.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, retail management, fashion or a related discipline preferred.
