Chanel seeks a Cashier Manager for its Paris boutique to lead payment operations, manage cashier teams, and ensure secure transaction processing in a permanent full-time role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the cashier team through regular briefings, coaching, and performance management aligned with Chanel's strategic vision
- Oversee all payment processing, ensuring complete security and accuracy of all transactions
- Execute and manage daily cash handling operations and banking transfers
- Enforce compliance with internal procedures and applicable legal regulations across the team
- Manage key customer accounts and coordinate closely with sales teams to optimize pending sales tracking
- Address and resolve accounting discrepancies and anomalies
- Optimize team scheduling based on business activity requirements
- Maintain consistently high service quality standards for all customers

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or business management
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in luxury retail or fashion
- Demonstrated excellence in team leadership and personnel development
- Strong knowledge of payment systems and cash handling procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)

Minimum 5 years in a similar managerial role within luxury retail or fashion sectors, with demonstrated experience in team management, sales, and product knowledge. Proven track record of leading cashier or payment operations teams and delivering operational excellence in high-volume retail environments.
Education
Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, business management, or related field.
