Chanel is hiring a Global Programme Manager (maternity cover) in London to lead Fondation CHANEL's international philanthropic programmes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of global philanthropic programmes for Fondation CHANEL, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Manage programme budgets, oversee financial tracking and reporting, and ensure fiscal discipline across multiple projects and geographies.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal stakeholders and external partners, including NGOs, cultural institutions and academic organisations.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and impact measurement frameworks; prepare regular programme performance reports and executive briefings.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and due-diligence requirements for grant-making and partnerships.
- Plan and support events, site visits and stakeholder convenings; represent the foundation externally as required.
- Identify risks and opportunities, propose mitigation strategies and drive continuous improvement in programme processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g., social sciences, arts management, international development); advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in programme or project management within philanthropy, cultural institutions, NGOs or corporate foundations.
- Demonstrable track record of managing multi-country programmes, partners and budgets with rigorous financial oversight.
- Strong stakeholder management and diplomatic communication skills; ability to liaise with senior executives and external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; high-level reporting and presentation skills. Knowledge of French desirable.

Experience
At least 5 years' professional experience managing international philanthropic, cultural or social programmes, including responsibility for budgets, external partnerships and impact measurement.
Education
Bachelor's degree required; Master's or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
