Chanel recruitment: Accounting Specialist in General Ledger & Fixed Assets, Neuilly-sur-Seine. Support corporate accounting operations and quarterly closings.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and process customer rebilling and invoice reconciliations
- Track and monitor cash collections and receipt timing
- Manage collection follow-up procedures and communications
- Establish and process foreign VAT documentation
- Reconcile inter-company accounts and balances
- Support quarterly financial closing processes and procedures
- Maintain detailed records and ensure accounting accuracy across all assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SAP FI software
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Strong working knowledge of business French and English
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Skills
Experience
Completion of coursework or practical experience in accounting payables/receivables operations within a corporate environment; demonstrated interest in process improvement and implementation of enhanced accounting methodologies.
Education
Baccalauréat + 2 years (BTS/DUT) in Accounting or Financial Management, or equivalent professional qualification
