Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the reliability, completeness, and currency of gemstone data associated with finished products and development pieces, ensuring accuracy across all product records
- Design, implement, and maintain management tools for activity oversight, including requirements tracking, milestone monitoring, workload assessment, capacity planning, priority sequencing, and risk identification
- Monitor team and partner workload across the gemstone development scope; identify saturation points and resource constraints; propose and execute necessary rebalancing or mitigation measures
- Define and track key performance indicators spanning deadline adherence, stone availability, data quality and reliability, service levels, incident resolution, and produce comprehensive reporting and communications for operational teams, project governance, and leadership
- Support project milestone construction and tracking from feasibility studies through post-collection performance review
- Coordinate all gemstone-related activities throughout product development, ensuring seamless alignment with master project timelines and deliverables
- Serve as principal liaison between the Exceptional Filières team and Product Development, Creative Studio, suppliers, and manufacturing workshops; organize information flow and ensure clear, accurate communication across all stakeholders
- Identify, qualify, and escalate alerts that may impact timelines, costs, quality, technical decisions, or aesthetic ambitions; propose and coordinate remediation plans to secure deadlines and resolve operational impediments
- Work in partnership with Gemstone Experts from creative design analysis through final piece delivery, ensuring stone availability to manufacturing workshops meets specifications, timelines, and Maison aesthetic and technical standards
- Guarantee data quality and continuity through the transition to production operations
- Analyze dysfunctions, variances, and process irritants encountered during development cycles and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fluidity, reliability, and service quality
- Contribute to formalization of working methodologies, governance rules, tools, and operational procedures for the gemstone development scope
- Participate in post-collection performance reviews and oversee implementation of identified improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or equivalent university program
- Demonstrated expertise in project management within high-value-added industrial environments, ideally in luxury, jewelry, horology, or artisanal crafts sectors
- Proven ability to structure and manage complex, multi-project activities with numerous interdependencies, demanding timelines, and diverse stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, workload and capacity tracking, priority management, and risk anticipation
- Demonstrated expertise creating and managing control dashboards, performance indicators, and reporting frameworks that clarify operations and inform decision-making
- Significant experience in cross-functional coordination across different professional domains, hierarchical levels, and business objectives
- Track record identifying variances, formulating clear alerts, proposing resolution scenarios, and ensuring implementation of corrective action plans
- Advanced expertise with ERP systems, PLM tools, and project management software; advanced proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of gemstone characteristics, jewelry design, or product development highly advantageous
- Recognized for rigor, organizational discipline, analytical and synthetic thinking, agility, and adaptability
- Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, integrity, and discretion
