Chanel is hiring a Fragrance Expert for its Harrods Knightsbridge counter in London. Client-facing role delivering luxury fragrance advice and driving sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and bespoke fragrance consultations at the Harrods Knightsbridge counter.
- Demonstrate authoritative product knowledge across the Chanel fragrance portfolio and advise clients on scent families, notes and layering techniques.
- Drive sales performance against individual and counter targets through proactive clienteling, sampling programmes and conversion of footfall into sales.
- Maintain counter standards including visual merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory accuracy and compliance with Chanel presentation guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Harrods store team and Chanel retail management to nurture client relationships and support events or private appointments.
- Accurately process transactions, record client data and follow CRM best practices to develop long-term client loyalty.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience within prestige fragrance, cosmetics or luxury beauty, ideally within a department store or boutique environment.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering demonstrable client acquisition and retention.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish immediate rapport with high-net-worth clients.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods; right to work in the UK.

Typically 2+ years of hands-on experience selling prestige fragrances or beauty products in a high-end retail environment, with demonstrable sales results and client relationship management.
Education
Secondary education; vocational qualification in beauty, cosmetics or retail desirable but not required.
