Chanel in Tokyo seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Sales Operations Intern to support sales reporting, inventory and boutique coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily and periodic sales reporting for the Fragrance & Beauty category, consolidating boutique and regional data into clear KPI dashboards.
- Assist in inventory and stock reconciliation, monitoring sell-through and raising order or replenishment requests with regional supply teams.
- Prepare presentations and summary reports for commercial meetings, product launches and promotional activities.
- Coordinate operational tasks between boutiques, wholesale partners and internal teams (merchandising, CRM, logistics) to ensure execution of commercial initiatives.
- Contribute to CRM and sales-data hygiene: data entry, client record updates and basic segmentation support.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to identify sales trends, promotional performance and opportunities to improve boutique conversion and stock allocation.
- Provide administrative support for the sales operations team, including calendar management, meeting minutes and project follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s programme in business, marketing, commerce or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical aptitude with attention to detail and a methodical approach to data handling.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Professional discretion and respect for confidentiality when handling client and commercial information.

Experience
Internship-level role; no extended professional experience required. Previous internships or part-time experience in retail, cosmetics, luxury goods or commercial support functions is advantageous.
Education
University-level (bachelor’s) studies in business, marketing, commerce or a related field; current students or recent graduates are welcome.
