Chanel is hiring a Fragrance & Beauty Sales Consultant at Boots Meadowhall, Sheffield — deliver luxury client experiences and exceed sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalised client experiences that reflect Chanel’s luxury service standards and drive repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, sampling and tailored product recommendations.
- Maintain authoritative product knowledge of Chanel fragrances, skincare and cosmetics; coach clients on benefits and application techniques.
- Operate the store POS, process transactions, manage refunds and ensure accurate cash handling and till reconciliation.
- Build and maintain a client book using CRM tools and follow up on appointments, launches and seasonal campaigns.
- Execute brand visual merchandising, display maintenance and stock replenishment to meet Chanel’s presentation guidelines.
- Support inventory control, deliveries, stock counting and loss-prevention procedures in coordination with Boots Meadowhall management.
- Participate in in-store training, brand events and promotional activity, representing Chanel’s image and service standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in prestige beauty, fragrance or luxury retail (typically 1–2 years minimum).
- Demonstrable track record of meeting sales KPIs in a retail environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach and strong clienteling capability.
- Comfortable using POS systems and basic retail IT; accurate cash-handling skills.
- Flexible availability including weekends and bank holidays to meet retail trading hours.
- Right to work in the UK.

Experience
Minimum 1–2 years’ hands-on experience in beauty or fragrance retail, ideally with a prestige or luxury brand, with proven ability to meet sales targets and manage client relationships.
Education
High school diploma/GCSEs or equivalent; a beauty, cosmetics or retail qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
