Chanel seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Sales Consultant in London (Peter Jones Sloane Square) to deliver luxury client experiences and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑calibre, consultative client experiences tailored to Chanel fragrance and beauty offerings at the Peter Jones Sloane Square concession.
- Identify client needs, provide product demonstrations and personalised recommendations to convert consultations into sales and long‑term relationships.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through effective upselling, cross‑selling and strategic clienteling.
- Maintain accurate client records and follow up using the brand’s CRM protocols to nurture repeat business and VIP relationships.
- Uphold Chanel visual merchandising, product presentation and sampling standards; replenish stock and manage display integrity.
- Process transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system, handle cash and complete daily till reconciliation as required.
- Support in‑store events, launches and promotional activities; coordinate sample distribution and client invitations where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with loss‑prevention, hygiene and product handling procedures specific to cosmetics and fragrance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience selling fragrance and/or luxury cosmetics in a premium retail or department store environment.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional client service.
- Polished interpersonal presence, excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with discerning clientele.
- Flexible availability including weekends and retail peak periods; willingness to participate in evening events when required.
- Professional presentation and strong attention to detail in product knowledge, merchandising and store standards.

Experience
Typically requires 2+ years of direct experience in luxury fragrance or beauty sales within a department store, boutique or high‑end retail environment, with proven sales performance and client relationship management.
Education
Secondary education (e.g., A‑levels/GCSEs or equivalent); vocational or professional qualifications in beauty, cosmetology or make‑up artistry are advantageous.
