Chanel seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Sales Consultant in London (Peter Jones Sloane Square) to deliver luxury beauty service and grow client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service to cultivate long-term relationships and drive repeat business.
- Provide expert consultations and demonstrations across fragrance, skincare and makeup; tailor recommendations and curate product routines.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, upselling and conversion of walk-in traffic.
- Manage CRM records, follow up with clients and coordinate appointments, private consultations and in-store events for VIPs.
- Execute merchandising and visual standards to brand guidelines; ensure displays are impeccably presented and replenished.
- Operate POS and complete transactional duties, including payment processing, gift wrapping and returns in accordance with policy.
- Support stock management activities: receive deliveries, perform stock counts, maintain inventory accuracy and report shrinkage.
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion and compliance with brand procedures, hygiene and health & safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven track record (typically 1–3 years) in luxury beauty, fragrance or premium cosmetics retail.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with a history of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs in a boutique or department store environment.
- Refined presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a high-net-worth clientele.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.
- Right to work in the UK.

Experience
Typically 1–3 years of experience in luxury beauty or fragrance sales, preferably within a high-end boutique or premium department store concession with responsibility for delivering individual sales targets and managing repeat client relationships.
Education
Secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent); professional qualifications in beauty, cosmetology or makeup artistry preferred but not mandatory.
