Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience that reflects Chanel standards and builds long-term client loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed individual and concession sales targets through consultative selling and product expertise.
- Conduct fragrance and beauty consultations — including scent profiling, skincare analysis and make-up demonstrations — to recommend appropriate products and routines.
- Manage day-to-day concession operations within Boots Kensington: stock replenishment, inventory accuracy, merchandising and promotional execution.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions and maintain accurate till reconciliation and sales records.
- Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation to Chanel guidelines, ensuring displays and samples are pristine and compliant.
- Proactively grow a client book via outreach, aftercare and follow-up appointments; record client interactions in CRM where applicable.
- Adhere to all health, safety and regulatory standards for cosmetics, samples and returns, and sustain brand security procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience in fragrance, skincare or luxury beauty (preferred 1–3 years).
- Demonstrable consultative selling skills and a track record of meeting sales targets.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused disposition.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by a concession environment.
- Right to work in the UK and eligible to work at a Boots concession in Kensington.
Skills
Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of direct retail experience in beauty or fragrance within a premium or luxury environment; experience working on a concession within a department store or pharmacy retailer (e.g., Boots) is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent) required; vocational or professional qualifications in beauty, cosmetics or barbering/therapy are advantageous.
