Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client experiences and build long-term relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling of fragrance, skincare and makeup portfolios.
- Provide expert product consultations, demonstrations and bespoke fragrance recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Maintain visual merchandising and presentation standards for the counter within Selfridges Oxford Street, ensuring adherence to Chanel brand directives.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, handle transactions and maintain daily sales and stock records.
- Execute stock management tasks including inventory reconciliation, replenishment and loss-prevention procedures.
- Participate in product training, team meetings and promotional events; represent the brand at in-store activations and client appointments.
Qualifications
- Proven commercial track record in luxury beauty or fragrance retail, ideally within a premium or prestige brand.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for consultative selling and relationship building.
- Impeccable presentation, professional demeanour and an understanding of luxury service standards.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods, as required by Selfridges.
- Right to work in the UK and the ability to pass any employer-required background or reference checks.

Experience
Typically 1–3 years of frontline retail experience within luxury beauty, fragrance or premium cosmetics, with demonstrable sales results and client acquisition skills.
Education
Secondary education required; vocational qualifications or formal training in beauty, cosmetics or retail sales advantageous.
