Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and advice across fragrance, skincare and cosmetics to achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Perform tailored fragrance fittings and beauty consultations, including makeup application, product demonstrations and regimen recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a client book through proactive clienteling, follow-ups and appointment management to drive repeat business.
- Maintain impeccable brand presentation on counter and product displays; execute visual merchandising standards in collaboration with John Lewis store teams.
- Support stock management activities including replenishment, stocktakes, receiving deliveries and accurate POS transactions.
- Represent Chanel's service and compliance standards in all customer interactions, including aftercare, returns handling and adherence to loss-prevention procedures.
- Participate in training, brand updates and team meetings; act as a brand ambassador within the John Lewis environment.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in luxury beauty, fragrance or high-end retail preferred.
- Strong consultative sales ability with a demonstrable focus on customer satisfaction.
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings as required by department store trading hours.

Experience
Typically 1+ year of direct experience in beauty, fragrance or luxury retail; prior work within a department store or concession (e.g., John Lewis) is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (GCSEs/High School) or equivalent; vocational/industry qualifications in cosmetics, beauty therapy or makeup artistry are desirable but not mandatory.
