Chanel seeks a Fixed Term Part Time Fragrance & Beauty Sales Consultant at Brown Thomas, Limerick.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary client service and a personalised sales experience to high-net-worth and walk-in customers in the fragrance and beauty category.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through product demonstration, fragrance and make-up consultations, and active clienteling.
- Maintain expert product knowledge across Chanel fragrance and cosmetic lines and advise clients on application, formulation and gift solutions.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, handle cash/returns and ensure accurate till reconciliation.
- Manage stock levels, replenishment and merchandising to Chanel visual standards; assist with stock takes and inventory control.
- Support promotional activity, product launches and in-store events; co-ordinate appointment bookings and follow-up communications.
- Uphold brand presentation, grooming standards and loss-prevention policies; ensure a pristine sales environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience in prestige beauty, fragrance or luxury cosmetics, ideally within a department store environment.
- Demonstrable ability to meet sales targets and build long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with polished personal presentation appropriate for a luxury house.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
- Right to work in Ireland and availability for the fixed-term schedule required by the Brown Thomas Limerick assignment.

Experience
Typically 1–3 years of direct experience selling prestige beauty, fragrance or high-end cosmetics, preferably within a department store or luxury boutique setting.
Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent; professional training or certification in cosmetics, beauty therapy or makeup artistry is advantageous.
