Chanel in Tokyo seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Marketing Intern to support launches, digital campaigns and market research for beauty and fragrance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support product and fragrance launch projects across planning, asset preparation and retail activation
- Conduct market and competitor research to extract consumer insights and trend signals for fragrance and beauty categories
- Assist with development and coordination of digital and social campaigns, including content calendars and performance tracking
- Prepare presentations, reports and KPI dashboards for marketing, trade and executive stakeholders
- Coordinate with creative agencies, PR, retail and training teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and samples
- Provide on‑site support for in-store activations, events and product trainings when required
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s program in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline
- Demonstrable interest in luxury beauty and fragrance, with awareness of category dynamics and consumer trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare clear presentations and executive-ready documents
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
- Right to work in Japan (internship visa or local eligibility) — preferred

Experience
Previous internship experience in marketing, brand, retail or agency environments is advantageous but not mandatory; coursework or project experience demonstrating analytical research, campaign support or product launch involvement is relevant.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field.
