Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an elevated, personalised client experience for fragrance, skincare and makeup customers aligned with Chanel brand standards.
- Conduct one-to-one consultations, product demonstrations and makeup applications to educate clients and recommend tailored regimens.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, product knowledge and effective upselling.
- Develop and maintain a loyal client portfolio using follow-up, appointment-setting and CRM tools to drive repeat business.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure product presentation and replenishment, and assist with stock management and inventory accuracy.
- Represent the brand at in-store events and promotional activities and collaborate with the boutique team on local initiatives.
- Adhere to operational procedures including POS transactions, hygiene and regulatory requirements for cosmetic services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury beauty or prestige cosmetics retail, preferably with demonstrable sales results.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a focus on client retention and personalised service.
- Thorough product knowledge across fragrance, skincare and makeup categories and an ability to communicate benefits convincingly.
- Professional personal presentation and the ability to perform in-store makeup and skincare treatments to Chanel standards.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of experience in prestige beauty retail or an equivalent client-facing sales role within the luxury sector. Prior experience with international luxury brands or counters is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education; vocational training or certificate in cosmetology, beauty therapy, or a related discipline preferred.
