Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized consultations on fragrances, skincare and makeup, tailoring recommendations to individual client preferences and needs.
- Deliver exceptional client service and build long-term relationships through proactive clienteling, follow-ups and appointment management.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through product recommendation, upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain merchandising and visual presentation to Chanel standards; ensure product displays, testers and promotional materials are immaculate and brand-compliant.
- Manage stock, samples and replenishment; perform regular inventory checks and support loss-prevention procedures.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, process transactions and support returns/exchanges in accordance with store policy.
- Participate in in-store events, product launches and training sessions to deepen product knowledge and drive client engagement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; professional qualification in cosmetology, beauty therapy or makeup artistry preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished, client-focused demeanour and strong commercial awareness.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and cultivate repeat clients in a luxury retail or prestige beauty environment.
- Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by boutique operations.
- Attention to detail, professional presentation and a commitment to maintaining brand standards.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of experience in luxury beauty retail, cosmetics counters or prestige brand sales, with a demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and retaining clients.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification in cosmetology, beauty therapy or makeup artistry preferred.
