Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a boutique team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management, including succession planning and annual review processes
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive boutique environment that reflects Chanel brand standards and encourages team collaboration
- Serve as the ultimate decision maker and assume overall leadership responsibility for the boutique
- Provide exceptional in-store and after-sales client experience by personalizing interactions and resolving client situations according to company philosophy and standards
- Meet annual Voice of Client standards and drive a culture of relationship-building and client loyalty through effective clienteling and CRM utilization
- Consistently achieve sales objectives and boutique KPIs using all available levers including products, services, and events
- Develop and execute business initiatives to grow the client base, drive sales, and expand Chanel's market presence, with emphasis on locally relevant events
- Oversee operational tasks including stock management, staff scheduling, payroll coordination, and loss prevention protocols
- Maintain visual merchandising and boutique hygiene standards at all times, creating a culture of service, expertise, cleanliness, and attention to detail
- Model brand image expectations as a brand ambassador and maintain an active role on the sales floor to lead by example
- Build collaborative relationships with internal Fashion Boutique personnel and external mall/center vendors
- Approach the business with an omni-channel mindset, driving sales to both the boutique and Chanel.com where appropriate
- Attend seasonal education seminars and corporate meetings to maintain product and brand expertise
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in retail or luxury goods environments
- Demonstrated excellence in team development, recruitment, and retention
- Strong operational and financial acumen, including budget management and cost optimization
- Fluency in product knowledge, service delivery, and artistry skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment whilst managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines concurrently
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for extended periods
- A flexible schedule with availability for late nights, weekends, and select holidays
- Passion for the House of Chanel, its heritage, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives

Experience
