Chanel seeks an experienced Fragrance & Beauty Boutique Director for its Valley Fair, CA location to drive luxury retail excellence and lead a high-performing team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day operations and strategic management of the Chanel Fragrance & Beauty boutique at Valley Fair
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, development, and performance management to foster a high-performing team
- Drive sales objectives and revenue targets through effective merchandising, promotional strategies, and customer engagement
- Maintain elevated brand standards and luxury retail environment across all store operations and visual displays
- Develop and execute local marketing initiatives aligned with Chanel's global brand positioning
- Cultivate and nurture VIP client relationships to enhance customer loyalty and lifetime value
- Manage inventory control, stock levels, and supply chain coordination with regional headquarters
- Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and cost control to optimize profitability
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail management, preferably within fragrance, beauty, or prestige personal care sectors
- Demonstrated leadership capability with successful track record managing teams of 10+ employees
- Strong business acumen with ability to analyze financial metrics, P&L statements, and sales performance data
- Exceptional customer service orientation with ability to cultivate high-net-worth client relationships
- Knowledge of Chanel brand heritage, product portfolio, and luxury market positioning
- Bilingual capability in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive retail management experience in luxury goods, fragrance, beauty, or related premium sectors, with at least 3–5 years in a boutique or store director-level position managing teams and P&L responsibilities.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, hospitality, or related field; or equivalent professional retail management credentials.
