The Fragrance and Beauty Advisor represents CHANEL in the Tampa boutique, delivering elevated service, building client loyalty, and achieving sales targets through product, service, and client data capture. The role is full-time and requires an in-store, in-person presence; anticipated base pay is $25–$30 hourly, with variable pay and other compensation components potentially offered.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver superior service to every client through the CHANEL service ritual.
- Build client relationships and loyalty through personal connection and trust.
- Contribute to business growth by achieving sales targets and using products, services, and data capture to recruit, retain, and build client loyalty.
- Attend seasonal seminars led by Education Executives and use the Inside Beauty learning application daily to apply learnings in day-to-day work.
- Support an omnichannel client experience across in-store and online channels.
- Address and resolve client situations in line with company philosophy and standards, partnering with appropriate teams as needed.
- Explain upcoming events to clients and involve them through introductions and demonstrations.
- Share knowledge of CHANEL, its heritage, and know-how with clients and the team.
- Understand business challenges, client needs, and the surrounding market.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, hygienic, and professional work area and follow visual merchandising guidelines.
- Communicate regularly with the team and manager, demonstrate a positive attitude, and uphold ethics and integrity.
- Treat others with respect, acknowledge cultural differences, and remain willing to learn from them.
Qualifications
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively.
- Understanding of and passion for client experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Foreign language skills preferred but not required.
- Passion for CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives.
- Curiosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANEL.
- Articulate, knowledgeable, and passionate about cosmetics and fragrance.
- Artistry skills and direct brand experience preferred.
- Passion for CHANEL Beauty products.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Full-time, in-store and in-person presence required to support client sales and service and deliver elevated client service that drives business results.
