Chanel seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Advisor at Bloomingdale's, New York — deliver luxury beauty consultations and drive sales at a flagship department-store counter.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Chanel at the Bloomingdale’s New York counter, delivering personalised fragrance, makeup and skincare consultations.
- Achieve and exceed individual and counter sales KPIs through targeted clienteling, upselling and cross-selling.
- Build and maintain a qualified client book using CRM tools; conduct proactive follow-up and appointment management.
- Ensure merchandising, stock presentation and visual displays meet Chanel counter standards and promotional guidelines.
- Manage transactions, returns and basic stock-control tasks; assist with inventory counts and shrink-prevention procedures.
- Support in-store events, product launches and masterclasses; collaborate closely with Bloomingdale’s operations and Chanel field teams.
- Attend brand training sessions to maintain up-to-date product knowledge and technical application skills.
Qualifications
- Exceptional client-facing manner with luxury service orientation and refined personal presentation.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct persuasive product consultations.
- Legal right to work in the United States and availability for retail hours including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to merchandising and stock accuracy.
- Comfort with meeting sales targets and using CRM to cultivate repeat business.

Experience
Preferably 1+ years of retail experience in beauty or fragrance within a luxury or department-store environment, with demonstrated success in clienteling and sales attainment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; cosmetology, aesthetics or beauty-related certification preferred.
