Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised fragrance and cosmetics consultations that reflect Chanel’s luxury positioning and product expertise.
- Build and maintain a proprietary client book through proactive clienteling, follow-ups and appointment management to drive repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs while contributing to store revenue objectives.
- Perform application demonstrations and makeup services with impeccable technique and adherence to brand protocols.
- Maintain visual merchandising and display standards for the beauty floor, ensuring product presentation aligns with Chanel guidelines.
- Operate POS and complete accurate transaction processing, returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Support inventory management activities including stock replenishment, cycle counts and loss-prevention procedures.
- Participate in product and brand training; remain current on launches, promotions and competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- Proven aptitude for delivering high-calibre customer service in a luxury retail environment.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create trust and rapport quickly.
- Demonstrable ability to meet sales targets through consultative selling and client development.
- Excellent grooming, professional demeanour and adherence to brand presentation standards.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on demonstrations.
Skills
Experience
Suggested minimum of one year of retail sales experience in beauty, cosmetics or fragrance; preferable experience in a luxury or premium-brand environment with a track record of client development and meeting sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or beauty certification preferred.
