Chanel is hiring a Fragrance & Beauty Advisor in Denver (Cherry Creek, CO) to provide luxury consultations and drive beauty sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke fragrance and skincare consultations, including fragrance layering, scent education, and regimen recommendations tailored to each client.
- Perform makeup application, color matching and mini-services to demonstrate product benefits and deepen client engagement.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive clientelling, upselling and conversion of walk-in traffic to appointments.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, manage client profiles and appointment schedules to drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Maintain luxury visual merchandising and product presentation standards for fragrance and beauty displays in the Cherry Creek boutique.
- Manage inventory, restock samples and counters, and ensure accurate merchandising and pricing on the sales floor.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, process transactions and follow cash-handling procedures.
- Participate in product training, launches and promotional events; act as a brand ambassador for Chanel’s beauty and fragrance portfolio.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of customer-facing retail or beauty sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and work to KPIs in a retail environment.
- Demonstrable expertise in fragrance, skincare and makeup application or formal cosmetology/esthetician training preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a confident, polished manner appropriate for a high-end luxury clientele.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays as required by retail operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks related to merchandising and stock handling.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of direct retail or beauty sales experience, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury cosmetics or fragrance boutiques and demonstrated consistent sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or professional beauty certification preferred but not required.
