Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised client consultations and product recommendations across fragrance and cosmetics categories, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive selling, upselling and cross-selling.
- Execute brand-approved merchandising, fragrance sampling and in-store presentation to maintain Chanel’s luxury aesthetic.
- Manage clienteling activities using CRM tools: record interactions, follow up on enquiries, and curate personalised communications and offers.
- Operate point-of-sale systems to process transactions, returns and exchanges with accuracy and discretion.
- Support inventory controls, stock replenishment and visual standards during daily opening/closing procedures.
- Represent the brand at in-store events, product launches and private client appointments.
- Undertake continuous product and technique training to maintain expert knowledge of Chanel fragrance and beauty portfolios.
- Adhere to company policies on confidentiality, product handling and luxury retail service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in retail sales, preferably within beauty, fragrance or luxury brands.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric approach.
- Demonstrable ability to meet sales targets and drive conversion.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
- Professional presentation and ability to represent a luxury brand to high-net-worth clientele.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in beauty or fragrance retail; prior experience with a prestige or luxury brand is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or beauty certifications are advantageous.
