Chanel Fragrance and Beauty Account Executive in Los Angeles, CA—Drive multi-brand retail sales, lead counter teams, and execute brand strategy in luxury beauty.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute Chanel business strategies and objectives to achieve established sales targets across retail accounts
  • Monitor retail sales performance and hold counter teams accountable to meeting established sales objectives
  • Establish regular in-store presence with counter managers and store leadership to ensure alignment with business plans, product launches, and special events
  • Develop client acquisition and retention strategies in partnership with counter management, focusing on building a loyal client base
  • Foster strategic relationships with retail leadership to ensure optimal positioning of Chanel within beauty departments across space, location, and talent allocation
  • Monitor market dynamics and emerging trends to capitalize on opportunities and support achievement of company objectives
  • Plan, execute, and communicate all in-store events in collaboration with regional leadership and corporate partners
  • Manage budget allocation and ensure adherence to company policies regarding retail supplies, travel, and entertainment expenses
  • Recruit and develop counter teams with emphasis on succession planning and talent pipeline development
  • Deliver orientation training and onboarding for new counter staff in partnership with education leadership
  • Coach counter managers and beauty advisors on product knowledge, service rituals, application techniques, and clientele systems specific to each retailer
  • Execute side-by-side coaching to model service excellence and drive behavioral alignment across counters
  • Identify learning opportunities and develop focused training plans in collaboration with education teams
  • Monitor brand image standards across territory and provide constructive feedback and training to counter teams
  • Ensure proper execution of merchandising guidelines and visual merchandising standards at all locations
  • Communicate counter-level issues and concerns to corporate to address deficiencies and maintain brand integrity
  • Maintain visual standards and brand image as top priority across all touchpoints

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in fragrance, beauty, and/or multi-brand retail environments
  • Proven track record managing significant sales volume and achieving commercial targets
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and mentor retail teams
  • Expert product knowledge and fluency in fragrance and beauty application techniques
  • Strong understanding of multi-brand retail dynamics and counter operations
  • Experience with visual merchandising and brand standards execution
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and retail clientele management

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 92,400 to USD 125,700 per annum.
