Chanel seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Account Executive in Long Island to manage wholesale accounts, grow territory sales and uphold brand standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a defined Long Island territory by developing and executing sales plans that achieve or exceed revenue and market-share targets for fragrance and beauty.
  • Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with key wholesale partners, department stores and specialty retailers; act as the principal Chanel liaison for account escalations and commercial negotiations.
  • Implement Chanel merchandising and visual standards in-market, coordinating new launches, category resets and promotional calendars to maximize sell-through.
  • Provide ongoing training, product education and sales coaching to retail teams and in-store ambassadors to ensure exemplary client experience and brand stewardship.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor KPIs, analyze sell-through and inventory metrics, and deliver timely commercial reporting to regional management.
  • Lead retail activation and clienteling initiatives in collaboration with marketing and retail operations to drive conversion and client acquisition.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, inventory control and brand policies; troubleshoot retail execution issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Represent Chanel at regional trade meetings and partner events, and coordinate cross-functional support (visual, logistics, CRM) to optimize account performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven wholesale or territory sales experience in prestige beauty, fragrance or luxury retail (preferred 3+ years).
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing key accounts.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior retail buyers and store leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proficiency in sales forecasting, inventory management and KPI analysis.
  • Professional presentation and training skills; experience coaching retail teams on product knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
