Chanel Fragrance and Beauty Account Executive position in Houston, TX—drive multi-brand retail sales and lead store-level teams for prestige beauty.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute business strategies to achieve company objectives and retail sales targets
  • Monitor retail sales performance and hold counter teams accountable to established sales objectives
  • Establish regular in-store presence with counter teams and store leadership to ensure alignment with Chanel business objectives, sales plans, product launches, and special events
  • Partner closely with counter managers to develop client acquisition and retention strategies
  • Foster strong relationships with retail leadership to optimize Chanel's positioning within beauty departments regarding space allocation, location, and talent deployment
  • Maintain awareness of market dynamics and trends to capitalize on opportunities and achieve company objectives
  • Plan, communicate, and execute all in-store promotional events in partnership with market directors, education teams, and corporate stakeholders
  • Manage budgets and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures including retail supply, travel and entertainment, and counter supplies
  • Recruit and develop counter teams with focus on succession planning
  • Provide orientation training and onboarding for new hires using company-approved platforms and materials in partnership with education teams
  • Coach and support counter managers and beauty advisors on product knowledge, service delivery, and artistry skills
  • Model proper service rituals, application techniques, and client system usage through side-by-side coaching
  • Identify learning opportunities and execute focused development plans in partnership with education executives
  • Ensure brand image standards are upheld across the territory through active feedback and training to counter teams
  • Verify proper execution of merchandising guidelines and visual merchandising elements at all locations
  • Communicate counter issues and concerns to corporate stakeholders in a timely manner to address deficiencies

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in multi-brand retail and/or beauty retail environments
  • Proven ability to recruit and develop talent
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record managing significant sales volumes
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
  • Strong computer skills, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 92,400 to USD 118,000 per annum.
