Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day application support for financial systems covering North Asia and Southeast Asia & Australasia (SEAA), including incident resolution, root-cause analysis and escalation to IT or vendors as required.
  • Partner with regional finance teams and IT to gather requirements, design system configurations and implement localizations or process changes to meet statutory and internal controls.
  • Manage and execute testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing) and coordinate cutover and go-live activities for system changes and rollouts.
  • Develop, maintain and validate financial reports, reconciliations and data extracts to support month-end close, statutory reporting and treasury processes.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects for ERP upgrades, new module implementations or process automation, ensuring alignment with global standards and regional compliance.
  • Deliver training, documentation and knowledge transfer to finance end-users and regional stakeholders; maintain system documentation, process maps and change logs.
  • Monitor system performance and data integrity; propose and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes and reduce manual intervention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Demonstrable understanding of accounting principles and financial close processes.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multicultural, cross-border teams.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or relevant IT/project certifications) are advantageous but not mandatory.
