Chanel is hiring a Financial Systems Analyst in Hong Kong for North Asia & SEAA. Mid‑level role supporting finance applications and ERP operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide operational ownership and day‑to‑day support for finance applications and ERP modules across North Asia and Southeast Asia & Australasia (SEAA).
- Act as principal liaison between regional finance stakeholders and IT/business partners to define requirements, prioritise enhancements and resolve incidents.
- Configure, test and deploy system changes, localisations and integrations; author and execute UAT scripts and co‑ordinate user acceptance cycles.
- Maintain and reconcile master data (GL accounts, cost centres, tax codes), ensuring alignment with group controls and local statutory requirements.
- Produce and automate regional financial reports and extracts; analyse system data to identify root causes and propose process or configuration improvements.
- Support month‑end and period‑close processes from an application perspective, including journal flows, intercompany settlements and reconciliations.
- Manage change: prepare documentation, deliver end‑user training, and maintain runbooks and technical specifications for regional teams.
- Co‑ordinate with external vendors and corporate IT for system upgrades, patching, and cross‑border integrations; monitor SLAs and incident resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of financial application configuration, master data governance and integration patterns.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into system design and configuration; strong testing and documentation discipline.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working across finance, tax, and IT teams in a multinational environment.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) and readiness to collaborate across multiple time zones.

Typically 3+ years of hands‑on experience supporting finance systems or ERP implementations in a multinational retail, consumer goods or luxury environment; experience with regional rollouts across APAC is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent.
