Chanel internship: Financial Control Assistant – Fashion Image & Orchestration, Paris, January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and track budgetary performance for the Image and Orchestration directorate
- Coordinate financial consolidation of strategic projects across Fashion division stakeholders including Retail, Supply, and IT
- Assist in deployment and evolution of innovative financial solutions and tools within Image and Orchestration teams
- Lead and animate the complete budgetary and financial process for new teams, from budget elaboration through real-time monitoring and alerts
- Track 7L Library revenue recognition, cash collections, and monthly revenue reporting
- Monitor and audit invoice accounting, allocation, and payment processing; construct and automate activity-based reporting dashboards
- Build and maintain operational dashboards for performance monitoring, profitability analysis by project, and exploitation account analysis
- Participate in financial and accounting closures, analyze charges and provisions, and contribute to budget construction aligned with strategy
- Formalize administrative and financial procedures, train operational teams, and support internal control implementation
Qualifications
- Prior internship or professional experience in a financial services or audit function
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ERP experience (SAP, TM1) is preferred
- Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken)
- Demonstrated rigor, organizational skills, anticipation abilities, and strong interpersonal qualities
- Passion for the fashion industry and awareness of creative industries trends

Education
Current or recent student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related discipline; participation in an educational internship program is typical.
