Chanel is seeking a Financial Controlling Intern to support the Europe Management Control Manager across reporting, consolidation, omnichannel performance analysis and cost monitoring for Parfums Beauté. The internship is based in Paris’s 8th arrondissement and starts in January 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Europe Management Control Manager with day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Review market closing work and safeguard the integrity of financial information in information systems.
  • Analyze market budgets and forecasts.
  • Contribute to consolidation work.
  • Prepare a KPI book for the markets.
  • Monitor and analyze Europe-wide Parfums Beauté business performance, distributing and preparing weekly and monthly analyses.
  • Analyze investment requests, including openings and relocations.
  • Propose ways to automate processes and add analytical value to data analysis, including pricing and forecasting.
  • Support the monitoring of spending commitments across departments, from purchase order and receipt through invoicing.
  • Contribute to monthly cost tracking for the departments monitored by the team.
  • Contribute to budget reviews of central expenses for the departments monitored by the team.
  • Contribute to strategic analyses and presentations for top management.

Qualifications

  • Currently studying at a business or engineering school, specializing in corporate finance or audit.
  • Previous internships provided an introduction to management control and/or confirmed an interest in working with figures.
  • Demonstrates rigor and strong synthesis skills.
  • Works autonomously.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and commitment.
  • Can manage priorities.
  • Has strong interpersonal skills.
  • Has excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI proficiency is an advantage.
  • Has an interest in the luxury and beauty sectors.
  • Has an interest in new technologies that facilitate data analysis.
  • Speaks English fluently.
