Chanel seeks a Finance Lab Agentic & Automation Lead in Neuilly-sur-Seine to design and deploy Generative AI solutions for global Finance operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and build Generative AI assistants, conversational agents, and agentic workflows for Finance operations, from concept to production deployment
- Lead exploratory lab work on emerging AI and automation capabilities including RAG patterns, API integration, prompt systems, and agentic no-code automation, assessing maturity and business fit for global luxury Finance context
- Develop solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query, Copilot Studio) and bring promising prototypes to robust, demonstrable state
- Conduct business framing and specification work with Global Process Owners and Finance teams to confirm potential ROI and stakeholder satisfaction before and during build
- Collect, qualify, and prioritize automation, agent, and generative AI use cases across Finance processes (S2P, O2C, R2R, Treasury, Tax)
- Prepare and support the transfer of mature solutions to build teams for industrialization
- Drive acculturation of Finance teams through workshops, demos, coaching sessions, and community events with makers and key stakeholders in London and Luxembourg
- Animate and feed the community of champions by sharing best practices, successful use cases, and effective prompts for conversational and generative AI agents via SharePoint and Teams
- Contribute to lab studies including business requirements and specification documents; lead peer exchanges with external partners
- Maintain continuous technology watch on LLM and Generative AI developments and translate insights into practical guidance for Finance business users
- Represent the Lab in external innovation ecosystems including the Innovation Makers Alliance (IMA) and Microsoft partnerships, bringing external insights back into Chanel Finance
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience designing and building Generative AI assistants and AI agents, including agentic workflows, RAG patterns, API integration, and prompt systems deployed in production
- Strong practical command of Microsoft suite and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio)
- Demonstrated track record of staying at the forefront of LLM and Generative AI innovation and translating emerging capabilities into concrete, working solutions
- Approximately 8 years of experience in digital transformation, automation, or innovation delivery (Finance exposure is a strong advantage)
- Proven ability to frame business needs and qualify potential ROI with process owners, balancing exploration with tangible business value
- Strong facilitation, communication, and acculturation skills with demonstrated experience leading workshops, community animation, and content creation
- Fluent professional English and French; comfortable in international, matrix environments
- Master's degree in engineering or business school, or equivalent professional experience

Approximately 8 years of experience in digital transformation, automation, or innovation delivery. Finance domain experience is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of designing and deploying production-grade Generative AI assistants and agentic workflows, with hands-on expertise across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. Experience in luxury sector or comparable global brand environments is a strong advantage.
Education
Master's degree in engineering or business school, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating comparable expertise and impact in digital innovation and automation delivery.
