Chanel Finance Intern (Acquisitions) – Genève. 6-month M&A finance internship supporting portfolio company analysis, business planning, and treasury management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain acquisition tracking databases and synthetic summaries for all portfolio companies
  • Prepare and refresh business plans for acquired companies, including earn-out estimations and associated performance indicators
  • Consolidate and analyze budgetary data from acquired entities, identify discrepancies, and prepare management presentation materials
  • Participate in budget planning cycles and revisions for portfolio companies
  • Ensure successful banking integration and oversee associated cash management tasks
  • Monitor treasury forecasts across acquired companies and consolidate cash position projections
  • Propose tools and methodologies for continuous improvement in acquisition tracking and financial oversight

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a Master's program (M2) in Finance, Management, Accounting, or equivalent discipline
  • Final-year internship requirement as part of degree programme
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Understanding of financial consolidation principles and management accounting
  • Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to manage large datasets and identify inconsistencies
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders (subsidiaries, shareholders, senior management)
