Chanel in Geneva seeks a Finance Intern (SME Support) starting Sept 2026. Internship supporting SME financial reporting, budgeting and analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the SME finance function with monthly reporting, variance analysis and KPI tracking for assigned entities.
- Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts and rolling financial projections; consolidate inputs from local business partners.
- Prepare and reconcile accounting schedules to support month-end close and deliverables to group finance.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses and scenario modelling to support business decisions and management presentations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, standardisation of reporting packs and automation opportunities in collaboration with finance teams.
- Liaise with local operational teams and external providers to collect financial data and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare clear, executive-ready presentations and summary notes for finance stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
- Strong analytical capability with rigorous attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Proven ability to organise competing priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present financial information succinctly.
- Capacity to work collaboratively across functions while maintaining confidentiality and professional discretion.

Experience
Internship-level position: current academic training in finance with any prior internship or project experience in corporate finance, accounting or audit considered an advantage.
Education
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a closely related field.
