Finance Intern at Chanel in São Paulo, Brazil. Support Treasury, Accounting, and Accounts Payable operations on a part-time basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support bank reconciliation by reconciling bank transactions with internal records and identifying discrepancies
- Assist with Accounts Payable routine activities and payment processing
- Verify invoices, bills, expense receipts, and banking data for accuracy and completeness prior to payment submission
- Record Accounts Payable, expense, and payment information in the system with precision and organization
- Monitor and track payment deadlines to ensure timely bill settlement and avoid penalties or interest charges
- Organize and archive accounting documentation and maintain organized digital files for easy access to financial and accounting records
- Support accounting entries and account reconciliations
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and collecting information for monthly accounting closures
- Support audit processes and contribute to administrative and routine tasks within the Accounting and Finance divisions
- Remain receptive to learning from the team and developing practical knowledge in Treasury, Accounting, and Accounts Payable operations
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Accounting, Administration, Economics, or related programs
- In first or second year of university studies
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Desirable: ERP system knowledge
- Desirable: Intermediate English proficiency

Experience
Prior internship experience in administrative or financial roles is desirable but not required.
Education
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics, or related field; must be in first or second year of studies.
