Role & Responsibilities
- Support month‑end and periodic financial close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and consolidate routine financial reports and management summaries for the finance team.
- Perform ad‑hoc financial and variance analyses to support forecasting, budgeting and business reviews.
- Maintain accurate accounting documentation and assist with internal controls and audit requests.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional colleagues (retail operations, merchandising, supply chain) to collect data and resolve transactional queries.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Strong numerical aptitude with demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving ability.
- Organised, methodical and able to prioritise competing tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential financial information.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, multinational team.
Skills
Experience
Internship or limited professional experience preferred but not required; previous exposure to accounting or finance through university coursework, student placements or short internships is an advantage.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
