Chanel seeks a Field Coach for NARS and Shiseido beauty brands in Mexico City. Train consultants, drive sales, and lead brand excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement training strategies in collaboration with Marketing, Senior Trainers, and Brand Managers, aligning business objectives with retail team capabilities
  • Design customized training plans for each point of sale in partnership with the Senior Trainer, incorporating performance gaps and commercial targets
  • Deliver personalized and group coaching sessions to Beauty Consultants on product knowledge, application techniques, and industry trends across makeup, skincare, and fragrance categories
  • Ensure retail teams deliver premium client experiences by transmitting brand values, product narratives, and differentiation with precision
  • Execute interactive, practical training modules in-store, fostering active participation and real-world application of product knowledge
  • Supervise and evaluate correct execution of makeup techniques and personalized customer advisory
  • Maintain current expertise on NARS and Shiseido product portfolios, formulations, benefits, application techniques, and competitive positioning
  • Analyze and communicate sector trends, product innovations, and emerging application techniques to strengthen team expertise
  • Assess team knowledge and skills through point-of-sale observation, theoretical assessments, and practical exercises
  • Provide structured feedback to staff with targeted improvement plans to reinforce competencies and knowledge
  • Monitor team evolution over time, documenting progress and identifying emerging training needs
  • Model best practices in sales and customer service execution on the store floor
  • Drive sales conversion through consultative selling techniques, cross-selling strategies, and average ticket growth
  • Guarantee premium point-of-sale experiences via personalized consultation, needs diagnosis, effective product demonstration, and sales closure
  • Identify commercial opportunities and ensure correct execution of brand standards, storytelling, and customer experience
  • Track commercial performance during visits and reinforce behaviors that drive sales results
  • Manage role-specific administrative tasks including expense reconciliation, travel logistics coordination, and visit planning
  • Identify requirements for testers, point-of-sale materials, and commercial resources to optimize in-store execution
  • Monitor inventory and point-of-sale material allocation, coordinating requests and quotations for additional resources as needed
  • Maintain alignment with internal teams to ensure correct operational and commercial implementation
  • Support implementation and maintenance of visual brand materials at all points of sale

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in beauty sector training and team development, preferably in makeup and skincare
  • Proven background in talent development and point-of-sale coaching methodologies
  • Deep knowledge of NARS and Shiseido brand heritage, product portfolios, and brand values
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with proven ability to transmit complex knowledge clearly and engagingly
  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with diverse teams and adapt coaching strategies to varied retail environments
  • Leadership and motivation capability, inspiring continuous team performance improvement
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to deliver training objectives across multiple points of sale
  • Creative and pedagogical approach to designing dynamic, innovative coaching sessions
