The Fashion PR and Showroom Intern supports CHANEL’s Middle East Fashion PR activity across press requests, sample coordination, showroom management, reporting and events, working with local, regional and global teams. The role is an immersive internship covering the end-to-end PR process, from showroom and sample management to press coverage, special shoots and Fashion events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate local and international multibrand press requests with stylists, local teams and global counterparts.
- Liaise with stylists to gather shoot information, assess shoot environments and manage requests appropriately.
- Coordinate sample requests and deliveries, aligning with the global team where required.
- Monitor when looks are featured in shoots and track the release of relevant print issues.
- Support local and international CHANEL special shoots, including sample coordination for Watches & Fine Jewellery and Fragrance & Beauty shoots.
- Arrange delivery and collection of Fashion looks for special shoots, loans and other sample movements.
- Book and coordinate couriers to ensure samples move securely and on time.
- Log new samples in Launchmetrics (Fashion GPS) on arrival.
- Support the creation of press-rack decks and update existing decks as new samples arrive.
- Maintain the showroom daily to high standards, keeping samples organised, well-presented and in excellent condition.
- Assist with sample coordination for event fittings, internal loans and dressing requirements.
- Monitor Fashion and celebrity press clippings across print, digital and social media, keeping monthly reports accurate and current.
- Prepare coverage reports for Fashion shows and events.
- Complete global feedback reports and PR studies where relevant.
- Maintain global master lists and orchestration files for multibrand shoots and Fashion shows.
- Upload Fashion clippings to local and global shared drives for PR studies and coverage reporting.
- Organise DHL send-outs and press-kit deliveries.
- Support the planning and delivery of Fashion events, coordinating samples, logistics and related PR activity.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in Fashion, luxury, media, celebrity culture and public relations.
- Excellent organisational skills and close attention to detail.
- Proactive, reliable and adaptable approach to managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working across different stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment and handling samples with care, discretion and precision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Launchmetrics or Fashion GPS is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Fashion, Marketing or a related field.
- Previous internship or initial experience in PR, events, media, Fashion or luxury is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic and/or French would be an advantage.
