Chanel seeks a Fashion Learning Manager in Copenhagen to lead L&D across Scandinavia. Manager-level role focused on retail training and regional programmes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement the regional learning strategy for Scandinavia, aligning local programs with global Chanel L&D standards and retail objectives.
- Develop, adapt and deliver curricula across modalities (classroom, on‑the‑job coaching, e‑learning) covering product knowledge, brand heritage, clienteling, sales techniques and managerial skills.
- Lead train‑the‑trainer initiatives and upskill store managers and regional trainers to ensure consistent knowledge transfer and service standards across Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
- Localize global learning content for Scandinavian markets, manage vendor relationships and oversee translation/adaptation where required.
- Measure learning impact using KPIs and learner feedback; report programme outcomes to regional HR and retail leadership and recommend continuous improvements.
- Partner closely with Retail Operations, HR, Visual Merchandising and Product teams to sequence launches, onboarding and seasonal training campaigns.
- Plan and manage the regional L&D budget, schedule travel for in‑market sessions and ensure compliance with corporate learning governance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and delivering retail learning programmes at a regional level, ideally within luxury fashion or premium retail.
- Strong facilitation and train‑the‑trainer experience across classroom and digital formats.
- Demonstrated ability to translate global learning content into locally relevant programmes and to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven capability to measure learning impact and to use data to inform programme design.
- Excellent project and budget management skills, with experience coordinating multi‑market rollouts.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years in learning & development, training or retail operations with demonstrable experience leading regional training programmes and managing cross‑market rollouts; prior exposure to luxury or premium retail environments is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business or related discipline; advanced degree or L&D certification is an advantage.
